We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in West Berkshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to vulnerable children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking assessments and developing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic support. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children. Delivering direct work with children and families to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working with children in need. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
