Join our dedicated Children In Care Team in Staffordshire as a Part-Time Qualified Social Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people in care. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Working collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and families. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding procedures.To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
