Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team in North Yorkshire, where you will play a pivotal role in improving the lives of children and families within our community. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Qualified Social Worker who is passionate about child welfare and committed to delivering high-quality services. In this rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families to develop and implement tailored support plans. Conducting home visits and engaging with families to build trusting relationships. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legislation and local policies. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children’s social work settings, with a strong understanding of child protection legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse families.
