We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in beautiful North Yorkshire. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with children and their families, providing support and guidance to help them navigate the challenges they face.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and development of children. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and other agencies. Providing direct support and intervention to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies and procedures.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (degree in social work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
