We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in Oldham. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in providing support and services to children and families facing various challenges related to disabilities.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families to develop care plans Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to promote their well-being Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care Conducting safeguarding assessments and taking appropriate actions to protect vulnerable children Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities within the legal framework

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England Experience working in a similar role, preferably within a Children with Disabilities Team Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child welfare and disabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in challenging situations
