As a Children’s SSW, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with safeguarding policies. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive parenting practices and resilience. Participating in regular team meetings and case reviews to ensure best practices are followed.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree or Master’s in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working within a safeguarding context, particularly with children and families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
