We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Peterborough. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in the area.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the level of risk to children Developing and implementing care plans to support children and families Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive support Attending court hearings and providing evidence as required Participating in regular team meetings and case conferences

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Experience working in a similar role within Children's Services Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
