The Multi-Agency Child Protection Team in Plymouth is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to address the needs of children and families. Working closely with partner agencies, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection. Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring timely intervention and support. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions to safeguard children. Providing guidance and support to families, helping them access resources and services.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
