Conducting assessments and making informed decisions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children Managing complex cases, including those involving child protection and court proceedings Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to provide holistic support Developing and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of children and families Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and court hearings as required

The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in child protection, court work, and statutory social work Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines

In addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in working with CAFCASS and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies will be highly regarded.
