Join our dedicated team in Portsmouth as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to contribute to the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. As part of the MASH team, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess risk and ensure appropriate interventions are in place for vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and formulate effective intervention plans. Managing a caseload of complex cases and ensuring timely and accurate documentation. Providing guidance and support to families, ensuring their voices are heard in the decision-making process. Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to safeguarding plans.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
