We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Lancashire. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive rate of £40 per hour (Umbrella) and is ideal for a qualified professional looking to make a significant impact in the community. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families while promoting their welfare and well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and other team members. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safeguarding policies. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with departmental standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in child protection and assessment within a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
