Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting independent reviews of children’s care plans, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Developing resources and strategies to promote reading and literacy among children in care.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). Registration with the appropriate professional body. Proven experience in child protection, social work, or a related field. Strong understanding of the legislation and policies surrounding children's rights and welfare. Providing expert guidance and support to social workers and other professionals involved in safeguarding. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and local policies.The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, CSS). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
