Are you an experienced social worker looking to make a significant impact in the safeguarding sector? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Kingston & Richmond. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise while earning £39.04 per hour (Umbrella). Join us in our mission to protect and support vulnerable individuals within our community.
As a Senior Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Providing supervision and support to junior staff and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards. Engaging with families, children, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child safeguarding and protection practices. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
