We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to promote their well-being and safety Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventionsThe ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and working with children and families Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environmentIn addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in child protection, court work, and statutory social work will be highly regarded.
