We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families within our community. As a Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with legislation and policy. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and services.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in safeguarding and child protection work. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
