We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in Salford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families, with a focus on those with complex needs.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments and reviews to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and safety of children. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide coordinated support. Advocating for the rights and best interests of children, ensuring their voices are heard. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings as required.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify needs and risks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Additional requirements or benefits:
