Join our dedicated Children's Social Work – Support & Safeguarding Team in Wiltshire, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide support to vulnerable children and their families. Your expertise will help drive positive change and promote the best outcomes for those you serve.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and services. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children's social services, particularly in safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
