We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding/Support Team in Wiltshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in need of support and protection.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify risks and develop appropriate support plans Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate and deliver effective interventions Providing direct support to children and families, including advocacy and crisis intervention Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multidisciplinary meetings Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reportsThe successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a safeguarding or child protection setting Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex casesAdditional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
