Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in North Yorkshire. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to support children with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.

As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention, including direct work with children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
