Join our dedicated Children's SW - FAST Team in North Yorkshire, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting the well-being of children and families in our community. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will engage with families facing challenges, providing them with the guidance and resources they need to thrive. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will involve:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Proficiency in case management software and a commitment to continuous professional development.
