Join our dynamic Children's SW - FAST Team in North Yorkshire, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable children and families. As a qualified social worker, you will engage with families in crisis, providing timely interventions and working collaboratively with a range of agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Your expertise will help build resilience within families, enabling them to thrive in their communities.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies. Providing direct support and guidance to families, promoting positive parenting practices. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for children's best interests.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in crisis intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families and professionals.
