Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families and children? CAFCASS is seeking a Family Court Adviser to join our Sheffield team. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children involved in family court proceedings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to understand the needs and circumstances of children and families. Providing expert advice to the courts on safeguarding and welfare issues. Developing and implementing child-focused plans that promote the well-being of children. Building strong relationships with families to support them through the court process. Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to family support.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family support. Strong analytical skills and the ability to compile comprehensive reports.
