Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Join our Children’s Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Staffordshire, where you will play a vital role in supporting children with disabilities and their families. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is committed to enhancing the well-being and development of children, ensuring they receive the care and support they need.

As a Children’s Social Worker in our CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the welfare and development of children with disabilities. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and educators, to ensure holistic support for children. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
