Join our dedicated team at Springvale Office as a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner in the Duty Team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable individuals and families in Staffordshire. In this dynamic position, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions that promote the well-being and safety of our clients. Your expertise will contribute to the overall effectiveness of our social work services, ensuring that we meet the diverse needs of the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing effective case management and support to families and individuals. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives. Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and students, promoting best practices within the team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in social work, preferably within a Duty Team or similar setting. Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively. Proficient in assessment and analytical skills to inform decision-making.
