Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work Service (C&F Team) in Stockport as a Qualified Social Worker! We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to support children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and community resources to provide effective interventions and support tailored to each child’s unique circumstances.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive parenting practices.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
