We are seeking a dedicated and experienced social worker to join our Gloucestershire TM Safeguarding team in Stroud. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families in the local community.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the safety and well-being of children at risk. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and other stakeholders. Providing support and intervention to families to promote positive outcomes for children. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work. Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases. A commitment to continuous professional development and upholding ethical standards.Additional Requirements and Benefits:
