We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Help Team Manager to join our dynamic team in Stroud, Gloucestershire. This pivotal role will involve overseeing a team of qualified social workers and support staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to families in need. You will play a crucial role in leading initiatives that promote the welfare and safety of children and vulnerable adults, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes the well-being of families.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and supervising a multi-disciplinary team, providing guidance and support to staff in their day-to-day operations. Conducting regular performance reviews and facilitating professional development opportunities for team members. Developing and implementing service delivery strategies that align with legislative frameworks and best practices. Building strong relationships with partner agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance service provision. Monitoring case management processes to ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and standards.To be successful in this role, you must possess:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in social work, with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
