Join our dedicated team in Swindon as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) within the Positive Futures Team, focusing on Looked After Children (LAC). Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual circumstances. Providing direct support and intervention to children and young people in care. Working closely with foster carers, schools, and other agencies to promote positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with statutory requirements. Participating in case reviews and contributing to multi-agency discussions.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with Looked After Children or within a child protection setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
