Join our dedicated team as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's Safeguarding and Drug & Alcohol Team in Telford. We are looking for passionate professionals committed to enhancing the lives of children and families through effective safeguarding practices and support. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and community resources to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families in need of safeguarding support. Developing and implementing intervention plans tailored to individual family needs. Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate care and support services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a children's safeguarding context, particularly with drug and alcohol issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
