We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Telford, offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour (umbrella). Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting assessments of family needs and risks, developing and implementing safeguarding plans. Providing expert advice and guidance to social work staff, ensuring best practices in safeguarding are followed. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to promote the welfare and safety of children. Leading case reviews and contributing to team meetings, sharing insights to enhance service delivery. Mentoring and supporting junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex caseloads.
