We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional who is committed to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of vulnerable individuals. Your role will involve working collaboratively with families, local agencies, and community resources to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
As a Social Worker in our CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life. Providing direct support and guidance to families, ensuring access to appropriate services and resources. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective service delivery. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in working with children and families, preferably in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
