Join our dedicated Children's TM - CIC Team in Cornwall as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children and their families. In this fulfilling position, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children in care. Your expertise will help shape positive outcomes for children and contribute to their long-term stability and happiness.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans for children in care. Building trusting relationships with children, families, and caregivers to promote effective communication and support. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide a holistic approach to care. Keeping accurate records and preparing reports for court proceedings and case reviews.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
