Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work (C&F Team) in Cornwall, where your expertise can make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in need. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to provide high-quality support and intervention. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to promote the welfare and safeguarding of children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in partnership with families and relevant agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to facilitate positive change. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding policies.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly in a statutory context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
