We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our MASH/Front Door Team in Warwickshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing incoming referrals concerning the welfare and protection of children.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting initial assessments of referrals to determine the level of risk and appropriate intervention Undertaking home visits and interviews with children, families, and other relevant parties Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and develop comprehensive child protection plans Providing support and guidance to families to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes for children Completing detailed and accurate case recordings and reports in a timely mannerThe ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Proven experience working within a MASH or Front Door Team in a statutory social work setting Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families from diverse backgroundsIn addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in multi-agency working, risk assessment, and court proceedings will be highly desirable.
