Join our dedicated CIC (Children in Care) Team in Warwickshire as a Senior Social Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. In this role, you will lead a team of passionate social workers, providing guidance and support while ensuring the best outcomes for children in care. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing and implementing care plans, conducting assessments, and advocating for the needs of children and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers, promoting best practices and professional development. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and safeguarding policies. Engaging with children, families, and external agencies to facilitate effective communication and support.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly within a CIC setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding practices.
