We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in North Somerset. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and interventions to children and families with complex needs.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Undertake assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate care plans. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver services that promote the well-being and safety of children. Provide direct support and intervention to children with disabilities and their families, advocating for their rights and ensuring their voices are heard. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of care plans to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to support positive outcomes.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities and complex needs. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions and recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and colleagues.

Additional requirements and benefits:
