Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Safeguarding Team. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Your expertise will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and promoting their welfare, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are met.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans to support children and families in need. Working in partnership with families to identify strengths and challenges, facilitating positive change. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and compliance with statutory requirements. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to safeguard children and promote their best interests. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Windsor and Maidenhead are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Support & Safeguarding Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the community while earning a competitive rate of £39.04 per hour (Umbrella). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and a passion for safeguarding vulnerable individuals.

As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Providing expert guidance and supervision to junior staff and social work students. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
