Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Worcestershire as a Qualified Social Worker focusing on Fostering and Kinship Care. In this rewarding role, you will be at the forefront of supporting vulnerable children and families, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while promoting positive outcomes. Your expertise will be vital in assessing, planning, and implementing effective care strategies that prioritize the best interests of children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers and kinship placements. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for children's needs and ensure coordinated support.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in fostering and kinship care. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
