As a Qualified Social Worker in the Children Looked After Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans that address the unique needs of children in care. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and regular reviews of care plans. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning for children's services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in the looked after children sector. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing your time effectively.
