Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans that meet the individual needs of children and families. Providing supervision and mentoring to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous professional development. Engaging with children, families, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures while maintaining high standards of practice. Managing complex cases and making informed decisions in the best interest of children and young people.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Significant post-qualifying experience in child protection or LAC. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
