Join the Lambeth Council as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional who is committed to enhancing the lives of children and young people with disabilities and their families. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality support, assessments, and interventions to ensure the best outcomes for our service users.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver effective interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legislation and best practices. Providing guidance and support to families and carers to promote positive outcomes for children with disabilities. Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to the development of service delivery strategies.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
