We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team in Lancashire. If you are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families, we want to hear from you! As a QSW in the CWD team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying their needs and strengths. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and development of children with disabilities. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and educational staff, to ensure a holistic approach to care. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with local policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
