Join our dedicated team in Lancashire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Family Safeguarding. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to support families in crisis, ensuring the safety and welfare of children while promoting family resilience. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with families, community resources, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments of children's needs and family circumstances to identify risks and protective factors. Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize the safety and well-being of children. Engaging with families to provide support, guidance, and resources to strengthen family dynamics. Collaborating with external agencies and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse families. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Additional requirements for this position include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the community.
