Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Lancashire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of vulnerable children and families. In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will work collaboratively with families facing difficulties, providing support, guidance, and interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of children within the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family situations. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of families, offering ongoing support and monitoring progress. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and interventions. Providing expert advice and support to families, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources. Documenting all findings, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with legal and organizational policies.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a family safeguarding or similar environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse families. Knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
