Leicester City is seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Single Assessment Team in a hybrid role, allowing for a flexible working environment with two days in the office each week. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and providing support to children and families in need. Your expertise will help ensure that vulnerable individuals receive the appropriate services and interventions to improve their well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Engaging with families, children, and external agencies to facilitate effective service delivery. Participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to enhance practice and share knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
