Join our dedicated Children’s Safeguarding Team in Lincolnshire as a Practice Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families. In this position, you will lead and support a team of social workers, fostering a culture of professional development and high-quality practice. Your expertise will guide the team through complex cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
As a Practice Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
Providing regular supervision and support to social work practitioners, ensuring they are equipped to deliver effective safeguarding interventions. Monitoring casework to ensure that assessments, plans, and reviews are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner. Facilitating team meetings and training sessions to promote continuous learning and development. Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure a multi-agency approach to safeguarding. Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance service delivery.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in children's social work, with a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and practice. Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
