Join our dynamic team in Liverpool as an Advance Practitioner in the Fostering Kinship Assessment Team. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Qualified Social Worker to support children in need by assessing and facilitating kinship care arrangements. This role is pivotal in ensuring that children are placed in safe, nurturing environments that promote their well-being and development.

As an Advance Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of kinship carers, ensuring compliance with statutory frameworks and best practice guidelines. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual children's needs. Providing support and guidance to kinship carers throughout the assessment process, fostering strong working relationships. Leading training sessions and workshops for staff and stakeholders to enhance understanding of kinship care practices. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in line with local authority policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in fostering, child protection, or family support. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a sound understanding of legislation and policy related to kinship care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
