We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager for our Family Help Team based in Liverpool. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader to oversee and enhance the delivery of high-quality social work services to families in need. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and development of children and young people within the community.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing a team of qualified social workers, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and best practices in child protection and family support. Overseeing case management processes, including assessments, interventions, and reviews to ensure effective service delivery. Collaborating with external agencies, stakeholders, and community organizations to promote integrated support for families. Monitoring performance indicators and implementing strategies for continuous improvement in service quality.To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in child and family social work, with a proven track record in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks, and policies affecting children and families.
