Join our dedicated team as a Locality Team Advanced Practitioner in Redcar & Cleveland, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of children and families within our community. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will provide expert guidance and support to social work practitioners, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices. Your leadership will be instrumental in promoting positive outcomes for vulnerable children and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing supervision and support to social work staff, fostering professional development and best practice. Conducting complex assessments and developing intervention plans that prioritize the safety and well-being of children. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery. Leading case conferences and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Contributing to the development and implementation of local policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in children’s social work. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
