We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Locality Team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families within our community. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing needs, providing support, and facilitating access to services that promote well-being and improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Working closely with various agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and professional development activities.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in a similar role, particularly within a locality or community setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices.
