Join the Manchester - TM - Locality (Family First) Team as a Qualified Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in the lives of families within our community. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about child welfare and committed to delivering high-quality social work services. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to promote the well-being of children and ensure their safety.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support families in crisis. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate services and resources. Participating in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families from diverse backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.Additional requirements for this position include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
