Join our dedicated team as a MASH Social Worker within the Bury GM Collaboration, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and families. As a key member of our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to concerns regarding child welfare. Your expertise will ensure that children and families receive the appropriate support and intervention they need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and develop comprehensive safeguarding plans. Providing advice and support to families, ensuring they understand available resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
