Join our dedicated team as a MASH Social Worker in Rotherham, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and supporting families in need. As a key member of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will collaborate with various agencies to assess and respond to concerns about children’s welfare. Your expertise will ensure that vulnerable children receive the necessary support and protection, making a significant impact in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in response to referrals. Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and develop comprehensive safeguarding plans. Providing advice and support to families, ensuring they access appropriate services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
