We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH Social Worker to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a MASH Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and adults by assessing and managing risks effectively.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting in-depth assessments of referrals to determine the level of risk and appropriate intervention Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Providing support and guidance to families and individuals in crisis situations Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and court hearings as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Work degree and registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a MASH setting Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in challenging situations

In addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in child protection, risk assessment, and court proceedings will be highly regarded.
