In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive kinship assessments to evaluate the suitability of potential carers. Working collaboratively with families, children, and external agencies to gather relevant information. Developing and implementing support plans tailored to the needs of children and their kinship carers. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and kinship care assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with families and professionals.
