Join our dedicated team as a Senior Social Worker in the Children in Our Care team in North East Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate and experienced social workers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families. You will play a pivotal role in assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality social work services to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional development.

As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective care plans for children in our care. Leading and supervising social work practice within the team, providing guidance and support to junior staff. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including health, education, and community services, to ensure holistic support for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in child protection or children in care. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals.
