Join our dedicated team in North Somerset as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Family Support and Safeguarding. We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families within our community. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans to promote family resilience. Working closely with children, parents, and external agencies to facilitate effective interventions. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local and national policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in family support and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
