As a Lead Child Protection Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing complex child protection cases, ensuring adherence to statutory guidelines. Providing guidance and support to social work staff, fostering a culture of continuous professional development. Building and maintaining strong relationships with external agencies, promoting effective communication and teamwork. Monitoring and evaluating case progress, ensuring timely interventions and reporting to senior management.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Extensive experience in child protection and safeguarding, with a proven track record of managing complex cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
