We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PERM Advanced Practitioner to join our CLA (Children Looked After) Team in the Qualified Social Work field. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and young people in achieving their best outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of effective care plans, ensuring that the needs of each child are met with compassion and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments and reviews of children in care, ensuring their needs are met and rights upheld. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers, fostering professional development and best practices. Engaging with families and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and young people. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies and regulations.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working within a CLA team or similar setting. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and frameworks.
