We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supervising Social Worker specializing in Fostering to join our dynamic team. Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and supporting a team of social workers working with foster families and children in care. Conducting assessments and reviews of foster placements to ensure they meet the needs of children. Providing guidance and training to social work staff to enhance their professional development. Collaborating with external agencies, stakeholders, and families to develop effective care plans. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A degree in Social Work and registration with the relevant professional body. Significant experience in social work, particularly in fostering or child welfare. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with a proven ability to motivate and support a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
