Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication and support. Managing a caseload of children in care, ensuring timely reviews and updates to care plans. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive parents, promoting best practices in child care. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives to protect children from harm.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker status with a relevant degree in Social Work. Current Social Work England registration. Demonstrated experience in children’s services, particularly with looked-after children. Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
